Will be starting on the front end in the next few days, I'm just finishing off a bunch of small jobs

Impressive work dude.
What's the plan for it when it's complete?

Pretty much to drive the crap out of it, mostly drifting but I'm keen on any driving events really, just want to get out and use it as much as possible

Good plan! Tend to see it too ogten with big builds that they never really get used all that often. Super keen to it in action and the process to get it there!

I would love to permanently mount a fastback. Will happen one day maybe. Love your work btw.

Yeah I'd always loved the thought of a fixed roof NA/NB, didn't think it would happen, I'm pretty excited to see how it looks.
I've dropped the hardtop at the b pillars about 25mm to rake the back slightly and to keep the rear window in proportion, my basic photochopped pics look good, fingers crossed

Looking forward to seeing how you build the front end, thanks for sharing.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Question for you guys, should I keep the radius where the b piller hits the rear quarter or have a more defined edge? Explanations/reasonings would be appreciated

Good luck, looks like a lot of fabrication

Re: CarMakeRevive- SR20 6speed tube drift mx5
Managed to get the top frame rails for the guards to attach to made yesterday, these use 2mm wall SHS which goes into the A pillar (I cut a window to access it) and is stitched internally and externally, a quick test fit of the front wheel shows that travel is going to be some what limited, I have a few idea of improving this area. At least now I can start the tube work, which is always enjoyable
