My previous car was a JDM 1999 Nissan Silvia S15 which i had for the past 3 years but due to exorbitant insurance prices i finally had to sell it as i worked it out that in 3 years of insurance was more then the purchase price of my new MX5

A few photo's of my old car

Which now brings me to my story of how i became a hairdresser

I needed something to replace the S15 which was cheap to insure, cheap to run and maintain but had to be RWD and track-able and all paths led me to a NA MX5. So after going through carsales i picked up a 1994 White NA8 Clubman for a pretty good price even though the body was a little rough the engine runs great which was what i was after.
This will be a very short and simple build as i want to bolt on only a few simple mods and just drive it whilst trying to save for a place of my own and so far even though i only owned this for 3 weeks its alot cheaper to modify the NA8 then my S15 and im loving it

when i brought it had already the Bilsteins rebuilt and re-valved by Heasmans Suspension with King springs, Whiteline front strut brace and sway bars and a Trust cat-back exhaust installed

First week went out and got a new federal battery as the one in the boot was just a regular battery, removed the meters of wiring from the previous owner who had a sub and amp in the car which was taken out.

Followed by getting rid of the Jenson cd player that came with the car and going for a Pioneer 2250 with front usb port

Got rid of the radiator blocker of a numberplate holder with a Cusco offset holder and also picked up some Car makes corn door pulls

Ordered and installed the upper and lower gear shift boot which made a big difference since the old ones was perished beyond recognition

Also picked up a new Nardi deepcorn and a Trust gear knob

Got a set of wheels coming from Japan to get rid of the nasty Enkei G Zero's that came with the car. The new wheels specs are 14x7 +12 and 14x6.5 +9

Thanks for reading and should have some more updates in the following weeks
