Fuel Gauge Accuracy

Postby lsducati » Wed Mar 02, 2011 11:36 am

I have only had my NA6 for a couple of months but after running through a couple of tanks of fuel I notice that my Fuel gauge reads empty when its still got 10 litres in the tank. Is this normal for the NA6, total capacity is 45 litres so it should be near ¼ tank.

Is there a fuel warning light in the NA6

The most fuel I've had to fill into my NA6 is a touch over 40L. The fuel gauge had been reading zero for about 50km prior to that. 45L capacity you say? I haven't checked to confirm this figure, but it's pretty normal for fuel gauges to show empty when in fact they have a reserve of several litres. There is no fuel warning light on the NA6.
