My guess is an 'Idle Speed Controller'?
The Mx-5 says of the driver, 'I am a maverick who plays by his own rules' and 'I appreciate a vehicle with low running costs and reasonable insurance'

Just had a quick fang through the NA side of things... B61P-13-W80

tell them to put a space in between dash and pot :D :wink:

Mounted on throttle body next to idle adjust screw :D
So lets go!

Only dashpot I know of is the oil filled damper on top of an SU carb
