WELCOME!

Nice car Nick!

I love the wheels! I've been considering a set of them for a while!

Did you have to roll the fenders to get the +0 8's not rubbing?

Nice car :)

Save your money on the brake upgrade. Just get NB brakes.
I've never run out of brakes in my NB. Ya can't really see big brake kits behind 15's anyway.

How much were the tyres ? 175 should let you run normal camber ?

Hi, I think your biggest priority mod would be to install the extinguisher backet for car use, rather than home use. That thing will be a missile in an accident.

Nice car, thanks for sharing.

I was going to make the same point, many of us make brackets that place the extinguisher in front of the passenger seat, that way it would do less damage if it comes loose during an accident.

It's getting harder to find one with a decent bracket, I chose one that looks like this:

I think mine was from Kmart or Bunnings but always open the box and check that dial to make sure the extinguisher has plenty of life left in it.

By "NB brakes" I ment off the 99 onwards model mx5. The front calipers /disks are bigger.
Just chuck in some decent pads and you'll have all the brakes you need.

Ill go check them out thanks.

Ok so today i installed the GV front lip, honestly i thought it was going to be easy, it was a pain in the ass, but i got it done, also lowered the front of the car, notice it handled a lot better and felt smoother.

I will get some proper pictures up soon, will be working on the car again tomorrow.

Great looking NA mate, loving what you've done with it. Looks very tough, but I think removing the baby teeth (front "tow" hooks) would make it look much cleaner. You've got my dream wheels too haha.

Cheers, Kieren

175/50 is pretty extreme for a 15x8. Have thought about just going a little lower with some more negative camber and run 195 45s?

its really easy, jack up the rear, two bolts, some gasket sealant, then your done.
