60's Racing Stripes, Fuel Lid, White Hardtop.

Postby Con65 » Thu Aug 15, 2013 5:16 pm

I want to create a 60's feel to the car. Filler cap done, hardtop, now the stripes and eventually when they arrive Watanabe wheels in gunmetal grey.

Different but the stripes goes really well with the white HT.

Well done.

I had these stripes on my second MX5. they are very understated, but do add a touch of class!

That looks fantastic.

Wonder how it would look to carry the stripes over the roof but in blue to match the blue of the paint?

My car now fitted with the Watanabe wheels kindly lent by Ben from Otomoto. My wheels should be arriving soon. Have now decided to fit a chrome style bar. Suggestions anyone?

The newest additions, IL Motorsport Style Bar and red walls by Red Wall Tyres. I can't see being any problem with defecting the tyres, no information was removed and only buffed smooth.

The lamb chops is more of a '70s thing, but I like how you think.

That radio is awesome - I think MX5 Mania have a chromed up HVAC panel that would fit in with that really nicely.

The journey continues, chromed wiperarms, S/S blade holders with spoiler and S/S dome nuts. Looking at getting the rubber caps chrome also.
