NitroDann's ultimate street NB
I am starting an NB in a week, which I would probably consider to be damned close to the ultimate version of a gentlemans sensible road car. NitroDann's SP if you will. It is a gorgeous almost immaculate NB8C setup so be the ultimate sensible weekender/daily. It belongs to a man who test drives the latest cars for a living, and everything must be gorgeous. It will use the fewest components possible, and of them, only the best.
It currently has BC external reservoir coilovers, and some nice wheels and tyres with an excellent alignment, I have pulled the engine out and inspected everything, it has brand new mounts, an OEM SE clutch, and a gorgeously tuned, better than factory driveability Haltech Platinum Sport 1000, along with a 2.5" stainless exhaust, with mufflers I chose specifically to keep it sensible yet sporty.
On the way is a brand new genuine GT2560r turbo, the same as the SP, 10mm Inconel studs and Stage 8 locking hardware, the Haltech genuine electronic boost solenoid to get silky smooth delivery of torque, and a Turbosmart Kompact 34mm BOV. It will most likely utilise a laser cut CNC bent airbox, and everything will be made from 304 or 316 SS like usual.
Pics to follow.

Re: NitroDann's ultimate street NB
Low mount, like a factory SE or something... but way better.

Decided I didnt like the wastegate action using the divorced flange I had so I made a better one, not bad for a grinder and a file?

Looks great Dann!

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Dann,
Your welds are looking more and more like babies tears every day.
Greg.

When you turn your car on, does it return the favour?
