Boyracers' 10AE Rat Rod.

Postby Boyracer » Sun Jan 05, 2014 8:58 pm

Why would you take a genuine low km. 10AE and change it?

Because you can....

Because the NB series 2 looks immeasurably better than the ugly NB8A. And SE headlights look even better again.
Nice job!

I like it. Love that 10AE colour. Hope the ratrod title doesn't mean it's for the plastidip treatment.

Agree with you Emily on the headlights, the SE has the best NB front bumper though.

Original NB8A headlights:

timk's NB8A with NB8C headlights:

- with SE headlights, or a tint, they'd look even better.

Looks great Lou. I wasn't too fussed about changing the front bumper but want SE headlights so will need to upgrade to an NB8B bumper anyway. Definitely worth it by the look of yours

No plasti dip I hate the matt paint look.

Just ordered a GV front lip from Tetsuya....when I get a chance to wash the car will put up a few more photos, there are a lot of other changes.

Looking good Lou. We'll have to organise a drive with a bunch of other 10AEs.

Yeah Hume do all my work...would be good to do a 10AE run.

SE front bumper is the same just has the SE front lip, I thought about the SE lip but prefer the Garage Vary one.

I love this car. Is that another 10AE in the background?
