PT wrote:What a great night!

Perfect lighting, perfect temperate, perfect road, no traffic.... was pure bliss.

Then good company for dinner followed by a nice drive in a certain white little NA.

P.S. Nobody tell velocity where we were last night!

8) I think I could handle an SE, if i had to...

Thanks for the drive PT, and thanks for the great company and drive guys! What an excellent night.

Yeah thanks guys, certainly had an enjoyable evening :) Great drive, company and food. Me thinks it won't be my last visit to the Samford pub!

I always love that *cough* mountain road. I didn't mention it last night, but I was really happy with the way my car went around the corners. Following Rhys was always going to prove interesting, but I was pleasently surprised considering it's all stock suspension with the wheel alignment the same as when I bought it, which could be to any kind of spec for all I know.

Just makes you feel like starting a \"I love my MX5\" thread, doesn't it Boags?! :D

I wondered why there were so many mx's up at Mt Coot-tha last night. I was driving home last night and I thought I'd go round the mountain on the way, only to find some very nice fives. I probably would have come if I'd have known... Maybe I should read the events forum occasionally! :)

I'm in Taringa, just down the road from Mt Coot-tha. I'm not a fan of the stock lights so I upgraded. :)

The wheels are Rays G-games 77W, 17x7, 42 offset, rims weigh 6.9kgs. Only just put them on and absolutely love them! About 3kgs a rim lighter than my old wheels - makes a noticeable difference to the ride... I've been slowly modding my car for a while now, just got the seats recovered in leather last week which is the final major thing i wanted to do. It's still fairly subtle I think.

So no more spending money for a while!!

Hahaha...

I have the same problem. I keep telling myself that my car is finished then I think of something else that I'd like. I think I'm addicted.
