Sorry I bailed - I was really interesting in going, but lets say I had \"issues\".

:(

Not missing the dodgy day for anything though.

Yes, your "issue" of a girlfriend thought you invited her to spend time with her. So when that "issue" of a girlfriend had to work back late, she thought you'd plan something else together, rather than have you just bail on her to spend the night by herself. :(

uh oh.... ---- someones in trouble now!

welcome to the fourms leesa :D

Most definitely the best night I’ve had with the car yet. Thanks Eric for all your efforts. Much appreciated.

The run up Springbrook after dinner was awesome. Kitkat lead the pack from the beginning. As soon as the pace was on, the Astra Turbo proved to be just as quick (I’m starting to believe that the Astra Turbo handles better than a WRX :)) This pace proved too quick for Mr Starlet who was scrubbing his tyres on every corner and having ASE05 all over his tail. As Kitkat disappeared from site, muzza2 and I had a great time witnessing Mr Starlet being harassed by ASE05 . After gaining the experience from the last unofficial run, Mr Starlet was confidently able maintain a fast pace throughout the hill climb which was surprising (still unable to keep up with Kitkat but who can? :P). I was constantly looking in my rear-view mirror to make sure that SP23 didn't understeer off course (luckily it didn't) and believe it or not, R34 was no where to be seen. By the 5th or 6th corner, R34 confirmed that they forfeited in trying to keep up with the pace. :D

Can't wait to do something like this again. R34, Mr Starlet and SP23 all which to thank you all for making the Friday night a memorable one.
:)

Oh yeah.. for those who are interested, Mr Starlet was officially pulling consistent 1G around the corners up Springbrook.

My 'issue' - I mean fiancee loves it when I go off on my own to do car stuff. She doesn't have to wait through boring conversations about how much bling Wayne has, or why red always beats blue, or how much extra power my new leads provide.

She gets to stay at home, have takeaway, and watch buffy, and I get to do all the above stuff.....

It's not a bad thing....... :D

She's even planning to go shopping on dodgy day - look out DFO - and sorry wayne - no towel clad welcomes this time..... :(
