Do you want me to come around earlier, so the car can cool down. I can bring a DVD an popcorn and my pyjamas if you like :? ?

Jules

Yeah - come round earlier if you like - and rather than DVD and popcorn we can do a spot of breakky - in fact - for anyone who wants to do that -come early (8am) and we can do bacon and eggs on the BBQ. Gives the cars time to cool down and allows a bit of planning (which usually chews up an hour anyway).

If I haven't done them already by then, any problems if I paint my calipers while there?

Do we still need the compressor and air tools?

Is there a list of all the dodgyness that is to be done?

Still awaiting others to confirm dodginess - better that anyone who thinks they need air tools to say so now........

Think I'll end up being more of a spectator, as not sure what time I'll be able to get there.

At some point soon though I need to fit a new clutch slave cylinder. Is that likely to be a time consuming job?

Other eventual projects incl sorting of red flashing LED, possible fitment of front grill, and keen to see some various mounting options for front number plate. Also need to fit a stewart CAI at some point, so if anyone with one of these fitted to an NB8A, is going to be there, I will have to have a look under your bonnet! :D

Cheers,
Gerard

Sounds like there will be enough floor jacks there so I'll bring jack stands, garage kreeper, flouro light, tools, torque wrenches.

Do we need all these things or will we be too busy eating and drinking.

Do I need to bring more food and drink or would a donation to those that have already voluntered be a better idea :?:

From my reckoning we have wingzzzzzzzzzzzz but I was also thinking about some:
sausages for the BBQ (everything is better with a sausage sizzle.)
bread rolls/bread (I'll get bread)
beers (I'll get some - who else is up?)
sauces
onions, tomatos, lettuce
soft drink/non alcoholic beverages (we will be in 'control' of motor vehicles)
other nibbles - suggestions & takers?
ice - three bags or so - takers?

I'll also get some stuff for breakky - eggs bacon etc but let me know how many might be coming early.

If there's other stuff that I haven't mentioned - post it up or PM me... :D
