So who's going down? I'm looking forward to my first time back at Wakefield in 5 years!
And probably more importantly, is anyone going down the day before and spending the night? I wouldn't mind having some company to share a beer over dinner, not to mention accommodation recommendations. I have no idea what's good and what's not these days.

Several of the officials stay Saturday night in Goulburn and usually have dinner at the Astor or Tattersalls. I'll be driving down Sunday morning, but when I stay overnight I often get a single room at Astor Hotel - comfy and cheap. Most of the regulars stay at the Bakehouse Motel which is a bit pricier. Give Mike a call so he knows your plans.

I think I've stayed at both, back in the day. I don't mind either one. All I know is that I'm never fresh enough when I drive down the morning of the day.
No word from anyone else going down? Maybe I'll try the Facebook group.

Mike Hicks usually books most of the Bakehouse motel for members, so there may be spare rooms there. Some rooms are multiple beds and some people want to share to reduce costs, so try Mike.
Drop in there around 6pm as usually a few people are chatting, etc prior to dinner.

I'd be all over this, but I've got something booked in for that weekend the complete wrong direction away
Will have to wait for the next one sadly.
