i have a mate with a rather high power wrx street car, he shall be bringing some spare front drive shafts incase he cracks a cv joint.

was just going to see if we could throw the shafts and a few tools into a parked car to save them from getting flogged by some bastard

Hey Regie,

Will be keen to come down and spectate/pit.

Just trying to confirm with WSID that one pit crew is included in the $50 for the driver.

• Cost to enter is $50. This fee covers the driver and two vehicle passes (race vehicle and one other car). Additional adult passes are $20 and may be purchased at time of entry. All other entry purchases must be made through the spectator entrance. No passes can be left at the gate. No additional vehicle passes can be purchased.

• Each competing vehicle will be entitled to two crew members. Crew members will be required to sign an indemnity and will be issued with wrist bands. This will allow them to accompany the vehicle to the start line area while the vehicle is racing.

The $50 only covers the driver

don't stress RG. practice makes perfect. Don't try to find excuses for slow time. everyone has to start somewhere.
your car has changed you need to get used to it on the drag strip as well.

IIRC Slammer poured 5K into Scooter. you know, cams. ecu exchaust bit of head work & so on.

first time out he posted a slower time. & slammer was dam good driver.

you may consider yourself a good driver but driving on the drag strip , racetrack & touge are very different things. so don't go looking for excusese why you went slowish. You'll be quicker next time.

you gotta crawl before you can run. Enjoy the journey as well.

best of luck.

Stan,

I'm not trying to find any excuses, I know where I've gone wrong, and as they say, practice makes perfect.

I just had a really bad night, not with the racing, but with some other personal matters that surfaced at WSID. That is part of the reason why I left early too, but that's another story all together.

Still, pretty keen to go back and see if I can get the times into the 15's. But that won't be for a month or two.

Speaking of which, I wonder what yours would do down the strip.
