Me? I would love to. But I'm sitting at my fricking desk at work in Leichhardt, getting picked up by the wifey shortly. Might go check out my mate's new mx5 tonight though!

Re: 4th April South Side Meetup
After trouble finding a hole big enough for the land cruiser, it was good to meet you guys.
Burger was top notch, and I've tried a few!
When I saw you guys pulled over at natio turnoff, I turned off and pulled over thinking "Stuff it, I'll tail em in the truck..." as the last car came by I grabbed first and the fuel light came on.... Doh! Was a great sight/sounds as you all came past though.
Hope you all had a good safe run, and the massive gaggle of road bikes that came whizzing by me on heathcote rd were a bit more restrained on the natio... Two or three came close to meeting my bulbar
Seeyas on the next one! I'll be bringing the 5 for sure!

Re: 4th April South Side Meetup
I made it home ok, turns out my fuel pump is on the way out. Got my car started with the old trick of banging on the tank while cranking the motor. Hope there is a MX-5 fuel pump in Ulladulla but I'm not holding my breath.

Also a massive thanks to everyone who helped to try and fix my car, although you didn't get it running, narrowing it down to no fuel getting to the engine greatly speeded up the process with the NRMA.
Also any thought into making this a monthly thing? I find the monthly F n' C meet to be a bit to far away but I could be fairly regular to something like this.

Nice run, and that burger was awesome. Had to leave early as the gf was getting tired.
Badbong - forgot to tell you, you should check your headlight alignment. The whole drive through the nasho I had to fold my mirrors in because the beam went straight into the cabin. Not sure the fog lights were really required either!

No worries mate, I'll align them again tonight. I do alot of night driving in areas that are not so well lit so I tend to aim them a bit higher to see further. Most of the time, they're alright cause our cars are always lower than the people in front of us but obviously if a 5 is in front of me then that won't work...

Re: the Fog lights.... mate, after hitting a kangaroo in the middle of a National Park, I wouldn't mind getting a set of 4WD outback light beams installed on the A-pillar just for my peace of mind...

*It was a great turn out despite the ad-hoc nature of the run and I hope that it'll help the guy looking for a NA make an informed decision.
As for making this a regular run... why not? We had 3 gatherings mid last year on the 2nd/3rd Wednesday of each month when we would gather at the Club at Kyle Bay down south.
Shall we get restart this and do something on the 18th of this month as a 'starter' and continue this on the 3rd Wednesday of each month?
Regie? Our esteemed run leader last night... thoughts?
