Well what a weekend. Close to 900km in 2 days. Perfect weather apart from a few showers early Saturday and late Sunday. I hope it's the same in March. All the roads are just as good as they were last time with stuff all traffic as per usual. Unfortunately my car is still suffering altitude sickness though the new tune is a big improvement over the last tune. I'll apologise in advance to the people behind me for the soot shower. Poor rjastra had trouble seeing where he was going in the Polo a few times. Fuel economy ranged from a best of 7L/100km on the freeway cruise to a worst of 10.3L/100km through one of the fun bits, but I was having LOTS of fun on that bit.

Not bad for a backyard turbo job that was running a bit rough at times I thought. But of course rjastras Polo APR tuned GTI did better. We matched eached other on the cruise section but he used a massive 4L less than my car through the mountain stage. There's a lot to be said for factory tuning.
The motel is booked and the run sheet is done, everything is sorted. Bring on March 7th.
