I would love to go, who else I'd going with a mx5 and/or as a first timer? Maybe we could identify ourselfs straight off the batt and some old timers could take us under thier wings to avoid the confusion some of us had at PI last year......

The practice day is a lot different to either a competition or track day - very laid back as there is no set order or run group.
There should be a couple of MX5's on the day with some other first timers also attending. If you turn up in your MX5, we "old timers" should be able to find you quick enough (providing we can get our walking frames out of our cars)

It's on I should be there from 12ish (noon) with the drivers brief at 1:50pm For those competing, I'd suggest bringing a tarp to cover your gear.

Have fun, sounds like it'll be a great afternoon. We tried to get the pseudo Mx (Escort ;) ) ready but didn't quite make it. Unfortunately I'm working on the weekend of the VMC as well

It was a good afternoon, I had forgotten how dusty Werribee can be. There were a couple of MX5's I haven't seen before, both red NA's There was some interest from others looking for a fun Motorkhana car.
A black 86 and a white BRZ also made an appearance, they went quite well with a couple of drivers who were willing to give it a go.

Round 1 is on It's going to be hot and dusty so bring a hat and sunscreen and come watch the fun. For those competing, I'd suggest bringing a tarp to cover your gear.
Reminder for those in the North East heading to the Motorkhana at Werribee on the 24th. The Ring Road is closed all day Sunday between Sydney Road and Pascoe Vale Road, Altona bound.

Was a good day with 50+ entries and was good to catch up with everyone in the new year The day started slow and was damn hot and dusty, typical Werribee, at least there was a slight breeze to move the dust along.
Some photo's on fb I was busy socialising and trying to get enough water into me :-(
