Hi all,

I was under the impression this board/forum was associated with the Mx-5 Club? Is that the case or is it just that obviously MX-5 Club members frequent this site, but there is no "official" communication between the two entitys?

I would like to attend Saturdays meet, but my car is not quite finished (is it too late to sign up, anyway?)

Is there someone attending that I could ride shotgun with for the orientation labs to lear about lines, braking ect? I drove there last year, but it is hard to learn the track when your by yourself and just try to remember what you read on the internet on how to tackle the track best.....

The board isn't officially associated with Vic MX5 club, but yes there is quite a few Vic club members on here.

Probably too late to score a entry for PI now, (It fills up pretty quickly) but if interested, you're welcome to jump in the passenger seat of my car for a quick lap or two in the first practice session, and I can show you the lines etc I use..

Youtube - mx5 Phillip island, there are plenty of videos of some of the club guys on there. So you can be familiar with the track.
