Hi Guys,

Theres a new Blue NC MX5 entered in TT MX5 and 300.

Is that the one I saw in the deckspeed workshop? - roll cage was painted matching metallic blue. Looked fantastic.

It was being prepped for Winton I think but I don't see it in the competitors list.

It is the new car built at Deckspeed, should be finished tomorrow,
It was on the standby list and is now in.

An awesome weekend of racing for the Targa Racing MX5's in the Winton 300.

Using excellent strategy, great pit work and solid, consistent driving, Adam Dodd and I finished 5th outright, Mark Mackay and Justin Ruggier finished 6th outright with Andrew McKay and Geoff Kennedy in 8th outright.

We also finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd in class. 8)

Our good friends and fellow racers Queenslanders, Peter and Robin Lacey joined the team for the weekend in their NA and finshed 7th outright and first in their class.

All 3 NC's prepared by the Targa Racing team never missed a beat all weekend and all the hirers walked away with a trophy!!

The MX5 Challenge and Super TT races had some of the best races all weekend with Lou Iezzi, fresh back from the USA, driving like a demon!!

Many thanks to Zane Al-Said, Nick Martinenko, Lou Iezzi, Col Faulkner and Joe Ruggier for there fantastic work in the pits. The laughter and fun is what makes it so much fun and without you guys none of it would be possible!!

Thanks to all our friends who called in to say hello and look at the cars and for making it such a terrific weekend.

Couldn't agree more! What a great weekend!! Even though my car is in pieces, it was worth the trip to Winton for the fun of participating in the Targa Racing Team!

I haven't laughed so much at a race meeting in ages!

Tired at work today but the best racing weekend ever!!
"yes yes yes! I know what I'm doing! Just leave me alone...

The support races were also really good, I did the MX5 challenge and super TT races....had some of the best racing ever, the first Super TT race I qualified 6th out of about 25 cars and went off at the first corner(the team were a bit bored so I thought I should give them some entertainment), went back to last place, made it back up to 8th in 6 laps, that was fun.

Also set myself a new PB.of 1.36.0 sec.(on semis) in the super TT race on Sunday chasing 3 sports sedans.

Congrats. to targa racing team for their perfect result....doesn't get any better, looking forward to the next one.

As usual the AASA meetings offer the best value for money racing possible.
NC Roadie, NC Racey, ND Racey….and a 30AE

Plus several others in the bone yard...
