Am waiting on a membership number to register for the track day (earlybird wanted)

You can put new membership on the form and quote it on the day when checking in.

As for the CAMS lic, if you don't get a member number before the day, a $50 licence can be purchased on the day, it only covers Wakefield however.

One thing on the car that scrutineers always check these days is the battery mount. I really doubt that any scrutineer would let you through with a large battery fastened with cable ties.

I previously had a battery secured by tow straps after the bracket broke at the track itself. I was told they'd do for the day but that it wouldn't fly next meet.

Get the correct battery.

Correct - Wakefield accepts both AASA and Cams, whereas SMSP / Eastern Creek only accepts Cams licence.

Welcome Brendan. A word or warning from someone who also stuck a toe in this year for the first time with mx'er ....... it can be very addictive

You should be able to access it here:

http://www.mx5.com.au/nsw/PDF%20Content ... /Login.php

If you're not a club member then you need to follow the link on that page to the paper form and send that in.

Yes there are still places available for this event. The last day for the $20 "earlybird" discount (for members only) is 18th November. The forms are posted on the Motor Sport webpage. You can get there from the homepage by clicking on the Motor Sport. I will arrange to have a "More Info" link posted on the Event Calendar.

I am in! Hopefully I avoid any mishaps the previous weekend and the green machine and I are still fully functioning!
