Coincidentally, I'm staying at South Durras with family & friends next weekend. Lovely spot and canoeing on the lakes is great fun. Have a good holiday Spencer.

Thanks! Actually got a 1.12.0 in practice yesterday :shock:

Official qualifying was today.

Did you have a handicap start? what a bloody stupid idea. makes it a 4 lap race. Apart from the fact I thought we had a warm up lap and we didn't :oops:

The first race was a cracker though, got a good start from way back at 10th and got one car before T1 - then on the fishhook had to go cross country to avoid an mg who lost it in front of me :shock:

. How I didn't hit him I don't know. Had 7 cars go past before I got back on the track!

But ended up 7th (I think, haven't checked), hauled a bunch of them back in. Lucky it was a longer race!

What a hoot! Bring on the MRA.

Oh - David Stone lost a wheel going onto the main straight - completely s$#t itself. Poor bugger, he managed to get in onto the trailer to get it home.

Great time Craig and good to catch up yesterday and meet your pit crew. I'll definitely come and spectate when the next round/s are on at SMP; some great cars running with FOSC.

Edit....sorry Geoff Piggott lost the wheel, David won both races.

Yeah Spence great to see you and meet Annie. My pit crew did take time out to visit the markets in Bungonia (that is not a mistype...

) so everybody was happy.

Video of the first race yesterday. Got a little hectic on the first lap for me, had to take a tiptoe throught the tulips to avoid a mishap but managed to get the places back.

Broken windscreen! And a not good sound coming from front right suspension I think, have been under the car but need to get it up on a hoist. Only seemed to appear on the drive home (I drove down and back, the girls came separately in the familymobile).

It went fantastically on the weekend though, the alignment was just superb. Need new and more rubber though I think..... 225's....

Just got an email from FoSC - June 1st event is open for entries.
$180.00 which is a bargain, closer to home too. think i'll be doing this over the AASA nats, but forget when round 3 MRA is.

The AASA NSW champs are on Jun 1 and 2, MRA Rd 3 June 30. So many opportunities for fun....hmmmmm.

I am tossing up FOSC or AASA but leaning towards WP.

Sadly I cannot afford the 2 day event at Wakefield for the AASA nats. would be good but it means a friday off work, motel for 2 nights + fuel, food, accomodation.

then next MRA is 30th June.
