Canberra is in it's Centenial year and as part of the proceedings the SDMA is running the Canberra Centenial hillclimb on this Sunday 20th at Fairbairn Park, Sutton Road, Canberra.
Spectators are welcome and there are no spectator fees.
As well as the regular competitors, apparently the Australian Hillclimb champion will be running his McLaren powered Gould, Ron Hay his Kawasaki V8 Dallara and Malcolm Oastler his Hyabusa powered Dallara - all spectacular cars to watch.
If you are in the area drop in for a look. Competition is usually from around 9.30 to 3.00 with a short lunch break.
I will be having a unspectacular run in Britney and there are usually several MX5s competing.
