South circuit was fun in my Clio, though I did have the safety of Understeer.

Can't wait to drive it with my 5!!

Mine was the first entry. Again.

Mine was number 2 I think! Got an email confirmation to say in class 12.

Anybody want to sit in the car to give me some pointers on the first timers sighting run?

I'll be there.

I have dríven south circuit but not in the blue car and not for a while. Should be interesting to see what it can do. I will be using it as a set up session for Round 3 of the MX5 Cup in May

I just submitted mine, cant wait.

Has been too long and will be the first time using my new Sparco Sprint. See you all there.

I know there is a familiarisation session for new drivers, but if you are experienced and have never been to SMSP South before is there going to be a couple of slow laps behind a pace car like they did at the last Supersprints or can people go walk the track early in the morning?

I'd love to have a look around before the day starts at a low speed if I can

Dan watching video is a good way to get to know a track. If you want the right way to do it, find Daniel Deckers 1.003 or whatever it was in his NC on youtube on the South circuit ;)

Thanks Craig, yeh I watched that video a few times and had a chat to Daniel Deckers about it which was helpful in giving me enough to write down on a map the lines, braking, turn in, gear change and apex reference points. I'm sure I'll get up to speed fast enough but if I can I'd still like to get a couple of slow laps in or at least get a bit of a look at the track before I go out.

Also I'm going to be up the back of group 1 too and Mr Deckers will be flying up behind me haha

If it can't be done then I think it's at least an idea that can be put in the club's idea bank for future days since I think it's really helpful even for people who have dríven the track a lot of times.

Yeah in reality its best to watch laps of a similar car, so gear changes etc are comparable. Have fun, it is a great little track.
