I just had a question from the missus. "how much do these track days cost"?
Answer: "The same as your MONTHLY trips to the hairdresser"...... End of conversation.

Mega props to Jason and Geoff (Automotive Plus), they pulled bits off their race car to get my car home!

Although the day didn't go as I had anticipated, it was good fun.

Great day, big thank you to the organisers.
Terrific idea to announce that during the warm-down lap to maintain about 3/4 speed as that in itself easily added to one more session. Lets announce that at every meet from now on please.
The rapid-fire send-offs was also a good idea as it not only cut down turn-around time but also aided in getting people to quickly ascertain and sort themselves out fastest-slowest in proceeding sessions.

Extra super happy special fun smile THANK YOU to Novice1 for the drive of the Yella Terra.

Another great day with a big thanks to the club and all the volunteers and qr who let us run around all afternoon.

I was more than happy going from a 1:13 last year with standard suspension on slicks to a bees dick off a 1:07, with a 1:08.08 with the new coilovers and the 888's. Still a bit to come, so I reckon not bad for a 1600 with 218k on the clock with only extractors and exhaust different from when it left the factory.

Looking forward to the full day at Lakeside in July.

Great day, crazy number of sessions for a single afternoon too. So many more laps than most events fit in the same time.

Very much enjoyed my first track day :) Managed to get down to a 1:11.6 on Clubman, pretty happy considering the car is 100% stock and on crazy passenger tyres. Can't wait for Lakeside.

Huge thanks to everyone that helped make today the FANTASTIC day it was!! Lots of new faces and great to see some of the times being turned in!!

Special thanks to Mark, JBT, June H and Doug from QR for the rapid-fire starts, to run a half day and get, in my case NINE runs and I could have run TEN. To everyone thanks for being ready to shoot out for your run, everything went so smoothly as usual!!

Great to see Danny from Automotive Plus there in the NC [yes Regie THAT NC!!] and also his great Technicians Jason & Jeff who were not only able to run the NB track car but also see how cars they work on in the workshop go about it on the track - well done Danny!!

Sorry for Ron [novice1] being not 100% with a back injury, but allowing Andrew [steampunk] take the beautiful yellow NA around for the day - get better soon Ron and hope your OK for Lakeside 15 July

45 cars was a fantastic [I'm allowed to use that word 3 times in a post] and takes 2013 after 3 rounds to 46-53-45 cars, a huge improvement on the past few years

Great also to see the 'other makes' supporting us again, Alex in the Opel Astra, Alan in his Corolla GTi, Jaron in the 200SX and John in his beautiful new BRZ plus many more!!

To all THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE SUPPORT and the great friendship shown by all!

Bring in 15 July, FULL DAY at Lakeside Park!!

Doesn't Motorsport zone only show sprint circuit times for today for you Roger? I don't see any other dates with sprint circuit laps.

Ross

Today's times aren't up yet but I scrolled down to check previous on both circuits, not all appear unfortunately, but I know I had a previous PB on the Clubman of 1:11.92 and I haven't run the Sprint for quite a while

Lovely weather and great company. Dad set PB's on both circuits, which was great to see.

Highlight of the day though was the goose who thought it appropriate to berate my 70 year old father for holding him up and then going 2 seconds a lap slower in the next session. Redbull called, they'd like you to test for F1 next year!

Thanks heaps to John and Mark for organising. I think Gary got 10 runs in the end. Epic for a 1/2 day.

See you guys at Lakeside.
