removing instument cover
having trouble removing the instrument cluster, removed the four screws to remove and it wont release, does the speedo cable just plug in, think that's what stopping me removing the cluster, didn't want to force anything in case I broke something

There is a tab on the speedo cable connector that you need to press to release the cable from the instrument cluster. This can be easy or a bugger depending on where the tab is, as it can be at any point around the connector. I usually press the tab with a screwdriver.
