Differences in AC Components between various NAs

Hi All.

Awhile ago I bought a complete AC system to suit my NA8. It seems the system came out of a NA6 that was fitted with a 1.8 engine.
I figured that something was wrong when the evaporator didn't line up with the holes in the firewall.

Can anyone tell me if the rest of the system is compatible or am I shopping for another complete system?

Ie, Is it just a different evap required? I'm guessing the high/low pressure pipe would need to be changed too as they won't line up. Is the condensor different?

Pretty sure the compressor and brckets will be correct since the engine was a 1.8 (presumably from an NA8 also)

If anyone has a complete system to sell me please let me know.

One difference at least between the NA6 & the NA8 AC systems was the NA6 used R12 refridgerant & NA8 used R134a refridgerant. I believe as a result there were other differences, but I don't know the detail of them. However, there's at least one NA6 owner on here that's used Hychill HR12 refridgerant to recharge his old R12 AC system, so he didn't have to swap to an R134a AC system.

Might be some info in these that helps:
