Hey guys - great to see such an impressive turnout for a QLD informal!!! :)

Sorry I couldn't make it, although it would have been just one more bloody red car to add to the bunch. Damn thing sat on the charger all of today recharing the dead battery, but all that said and done, it is still due to go to mazda for a good looking over and check out, mainly to see what is going wrong in the cooling system.

I'll do that once my &*&^%&^%*&^ overdue payments from clients come through, along with rejoining the club.

I'll tell you what looked especially hot, was Tony's NC in my mirrors, going up Mt Mee.... usually having the turbo means you leave the traffic pretty much to their own devices, and wait for them at the top. That thing was humming up the mountain! Most impressive. Pity you wrong slotted and missed out on that, Mick! :(

Talking to Tony afterwards, the NC suspension which allowed him to carry a lot of speed with great stability through those fairly-rough surfaced bends is a lot to do with it. But the NC motor obviously has a fair bit of poke, too.
