Hey, your copilot led us down that dirt road. I just directed us further down it.... It was the right road, just the wrong direction! :)

So how many Loti turned up? \"Elise\" is actually an MX-5 Club member.

Just two.

A big thanks to them for giving me the water in their thermos for my trip home. :) I didn't fix a hose problem from a track day (ie that hose has no clamp) and it caused me to have to pull over. Anyway, with their help I was able to get to a petrol station and refill the cooling system after having put on a hose clamp - which was already in the car waiting to be put on later that day at my parents' place.

Fun fun.

Sorry sir! Lapse on my part. If only I'd been granted a few extra hrs before running out of coolant, I'd have put the clamp on! :)

PT, those shots appear to be in focus... good.

Jules, nice sprint in the parts that I was actually attached to part of the convoy for. :) It was also good to see that Malibu's 100% again.

Yep, Love twisties...
Those back roads through the back of Tambourine were awesome!

And Malibu is now sweeter than ever before :) :) :)

I must admit I started coughing after a while, what with all the \"stuff\" that was blowing out of Geoff's car

Goddamn. Oil, or fuel?

I believe the valve stem seals may be going. Was it after cruising and then getting on the throttle that it happened? Pulling the head to do the valve stem seals would be much easier than worn piston rings!

It is a 16yr old motor, I guess I can forgive it if it's having a couple of hiccups. I guess it just means I'd better hurry up with the rebuild of the original engine block.
