How about Johnny gives me the $2k, and I'll keep it for my petrol fund.

ah you see but then your going around their grand plan of gettin their money back again buy raising taxes on lpg, which they have openly stated they will be introducing a 2.something% increase a year for x amount of years.. so yeah they arnt giving away anything, just getting people to move to another taxed item :?

And........what about the queues for gas at the one only pump in each service station

You only have to look at the line up of people cashing in their Coles/Woolies saver dockets on 'cheapie' petrol day - and they have a choice of pumps :?

LPG conversions are effectively only for large sedans and four wheel drives. It's all to do with the size and difficult shape of the tank.

It means my taxes will be used to extend the lives of other people's gas guzzlers, including the mongrel monsters that are so hard for us to share the road with.

I'm just soooo pleased about that.

I was thinking the same thing magna_blue. It'll probablly work out cheaper to run an LPG powered gas guzzler than my SP seeing as I have to use 98RON fuel. And I'm subsidising them! :(
