right finnished project polish

i know some people dont agree with cutting the cam cover down and thats fair enough but i like it so i did it

next in line is taking the air-con compressor out. do i need a new belt as the power steering runs off this aswell?

yep, you'll need a shorter belt, i do have the size of it here somewhere.

thanks daz, would it be alright if you could order in the belt at your shop.

I wonder if exposing the timing belt like that shortens it's life???

Well it looks really nice. I don't think there would be any heat/fume issues shortening its life, as I doubt that would be increased. The only issue is that if something gets caught in there when running (like my little finger)!

i think the main reason is to stop foreign objects getting into the teeth etc. i hardly ever drive on dirt roads only dirt car-parks really slowly.
as bruce said you have to watch ya fingers now.
