Might be worth buying a cam cover gasket and give it to whoever does your cam belt change if you don't need to use it on the weekend.

I must ask though, why were you taking the coil pack off anyway?

If you get really desperate, i've found using a mig welder to weld a good nut to the top of the broken bolt works really well. You need to get the whole thing really really hot, almost dripping, then let it cool. It will then just wind out with no problems. You can use this method to get broken exhaust studs out too, even if they are a bit below the surface. I weld a washer on to them first, then weld a nut to the washer.

Why not take the cam cover to someone who can drill the bolts out?

i guess i could have drilled them out myself.

1) too lazy
2) what difference would it make?

i guess this method is a little dodgy, i just want it to work.
famous last words.

i still have a unhaxord bracket if i ever feel the need to drill out the bolts

I also want to thank brett again for sending me his coils :D
