It is under the rear of the car, drivers side and is hiding under a plastic surround.

Be aware that the fuel is under pressure. You will need to reduce/remove the pressure before removing the filter.

I think the Haynes/Enthusiasts guide cover the process for replacing it.

easy process. The filter is in the right rear wheel well.

depressurise by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the car.

unbolt new filter. Quickly swap inlet line to the new filter. (keep the cap on the other end).
Swap outlet line.
bolt into place.

done.

from memory, i paid $30ish for my new oem fuel filter. if i do it again, i will put 2 clamps (or clips) at the fuel lines after the old filter is removed.
