Relay Problem

Postby nfs13b » Fri Sep 01, 2006 10:19 am

Hey All,

I am probably going to be very vague and confusing but I am going to ask anyway.

If you look in the engine bay on the passenger side towards the back there are some relays (on the guard part)

Could someone please advise what they are for (I know one controls the pop up headlights and stops it from closing)

I will try to get a pic up tomorrow to hopefully make it clearer.

Thanks

I think ones for the wiper motor - the madracki website will solve this issue for you......

Mine only has the horn relay there. Beware that the US market cars are quite different to Aus market as far as relays in that area go. No idea about JDM models.

Had a look in the Wiring Diagrams I have
There can be up to 3 relays in that postion
1 is for the headlights (not the pop up motors)
1 is for the horn
1 is for the TNS relay (NFI so don't ask me )

It could be the horn because I have it disconnected at the moment because the cable for my transbrake (which is on the steering wheel) was being tangled around the wheel and making the horn go off.

Thanks for that guys.
