And they're the right ones this time. The engine build will commence soon! :D

First stop: engine machine shop to test + machine the block, crank and head!

Cain't wait Sabre. It's a pity you have to put them inside an engine eh? Keep them away from Wayne, he might want to use them as bling!!

I popped the big question to Jen in Queenstown (NZ) while on holidays. She thought I was asking if she'd like me to get her some more wine and said yes.......

But bling buys me car time :)

It's on the market and clean as an operating theatre. Plus not enough room for more than 3 cars.

Where? All at home on an engine stand. It'll take me a few hours of careful assembly, checking of clearances etc. If anyone does want to watch they're welcome but I don't have a definite date on which I'm doing it. When I get all of the parts, I'll be cleaning the block, installing the bearings, checking clearances, installing the crank, the mains bolts, assembling the pistons + rods, installing the rings, installing the piston assembles and I should have a "complete" bottom end done. then I can attach all of the ancillaries (oil pump, rear main seal retainer, etc etc)

I didn't get time to ring the engine machinists - been busy as buggery here at work relocating and racking a cluster of servers.

And grats, Mikey. I think?? :)
