It's off the reputation of the superceeded A539, that we all (mostly) adored.

silverstone 205 40 17's
@ $135 each cnr
great grip wet
excellent grip dry
got real hot after 10 laps flat out at eastern creek and started under steer and over steer but ok after a rest for the next ten ( but they are not made for that sh*t anyway )

20,000 ks and counting but wil be due very soon
excellent wearing tyre in my opinion and good value for money as far as cheap rubber goes, very capable on dodgy sydney roads never had a flat , or had them pinched by the rim etc

Thread revival!! (I'm hunting for info, and have found a vast treasure trove of randomly useful threads)

Type:Kuhmo Ecsta SPT
Size: 195/50/15
Price: $100 / corner
Dry Grip: 4/5
Wet Grip: 3.5/5 because I haven't pushed them hard enough in the wet to see if it'll make the grade of 4.
Tyre Life: Would not have a clue.
Road Noise: Stereo's up too loud to hear any road noise :P

Kula: where'd you get yours for $90 a corner?
