Danny Mischok's escort finally cracked 46 secs for Mt Cotton. Well that was his goal.
He took me round the track for a lap record with a passenger, some months ago. Would thoroughly recommend trying to get a ride in his car when they next have a passenger day at Mt Cotton.
The money thats gone into his Cosworth escort.....aya caramba!!!!
Sorry, I was vehicleless last weekend.
Cheers

Every turn he'd talk about how much air he'd get on the inside wheels and the speeds he'd take, haha, if only I had that kind of power and skill
I highly recommend getting someone like that to give you a bit of advice (be it hillclimb, sprints, autocross, etc etc) the amount you can learn in such a short amount of time is unbelieveable.
The first time Danny took me for a drive was in my Honda Crx 96kw atw. Never once did I see him use the clutch, never once did I hear any crunching of gears. After the drive I almost fell out of my own car, coudln't stand up for about half an hour, my son just laughed.
As for getting air, the top part of mt cotton, was the most exhilerating, only two wheels on the track and the wrong end of the car facing the next turn. And the brakes on his car are unbelievable. Massive burnout, noway could he stop on white start line, Brakes, and I am glad I was strapped in securely as I would have gone through the window otherwise.
Two guys at work, one with FPV? falcon and other with SS commodore bragging how quick there cars were.
Danny challenged them to a race for pink slips. Passed them in his XR6 Ute on the grass, on the golfcourse. Oh yeah, and his mother drives the same way.
Thank God there were no golfers out that day:)
