But ... uhhh.... AJ....
I was in Group 2 and hence were the first lot to come across the detour. Group 3 caught up and waited for 1 & 2 to u-turn and take the detour.

So assuming you, being Group 4 leader, caught up with Group 3, you went straight ahead anyways, thus necessating a U-turn, instead of turning right straight away?

Strange, strange man.
