Purchased second hand just over a year ago now
Classic red, 5 speed manual, bone stock when I got it

I've been slowly adding mods to it, so far in order
- Brown Davis rollbar (Steel)
- Removed annoying door/ignition buzzer
- DIY front grill (for some radiator protection)
- NB Hardtop
- An audio system of some sort
- NB8B front strut brace
- Chrome sill plates
- No-drill cold air intake
- Torsen diff
- 6 point harness (not installed)
- Boags vent rings

ok well Sparco Sprint V was installed this afternoon

I would NOT recommend trying to install it by yourself unless you have the right equipment (at least using the stock NB rails)
main problem was with left rail which has the seat belt buckle on it.
The runner is very narrow so the bolt at the rear of the seat on this side needs to be perfectly in the centre or else the rails will not move back and forth.
I've heard that with the old Sprint it was not as much of an issue since rail would easily mount in this position.
But with the Sprint V the side mounts on the seat protrude too far out, pushing the rail towards the outside of the seat (hence the bolt cannot be in the centre) even after grinding away the side mount extrusions on the seat rails it would not sit far enough towards the centre (we didn't want to grind down the seat side mounts just incase)
eventually it was decided to take off some of the bolt to allow the rails to slide (not much just a bit off one of the bolt faces)

But after that is was smooth sailing with all the rail bolts lining up perfectly inside the car, fitment is fine the seat does not rub at all on the doors or the centre console but when all the way back the hardtop latches cannot be opened (since the side bolstering just touches them)
It was quite different to drive with the seating position noticeably lower than with the stock seat (great if you need some extra space when wearing a helmet for track days)

tomorrow I will hopefully be getting the rest of the harness installed and I'll post some pics over the weekend showing fitment and maybe the rails and modifications required as well

sparco sprint V's are fixed bucket.. and they are sexy but with a $500 price tag each.. my final verdict!.. the best!.. post some pics installed SM!
