Wants to lead! Wants to lead??? When Heckle dropped me in it 5 mins before departure, I did NOT want to lead.

There's a reason why the "Jules Twin Creek Blast" only uses 2 main roads!
And Heckle, I thought you said you were going to leave me alone for a day and go off and taunt Casey's about his grapes a bit longer??

- oh wait on... don't you now hold the record for making your group do a U-turn 150 metres into the run? (...this was the first of the u-turns for the day I'm told, but more on those later).

That wasn't a U Turn it was a carefully planned Lap of a Roundabout so we could all hear the musical tones of the Lambo as it throtteld off into the roundabout

AJ...did you notice the odometer readings were really accurate?

the run sheet odo readings you mean??.............well, yes, you'd have to say so wouldn't you?.......as group one had no trouble......me??..........i can't say for sure, considering that just 150 metres into the run our odos were in error by 2.2 kilometres

BTW. I have discovered that you can reset the NB trip computer to whatever 'commencement' kilometres you want. It's a bit tricky, but with practice it's a breeze. Here's how:

(A) Set the second 'trip' metre to zero (this assumes you aren't using it for secondary purposes on this run).
(B) Take a note of the actual odometer (the number of K's the car has travelled - THIS STEP IS IMPORTANT!)
(C) Subtract A (above) from B (above) - this should not be difficult for those who passed 3rd year maths.
(D) Turn on the car radio, and press the SEARCH button, whilst simultaneously pushing the FF button on the CD, until the number (that matches the difference between A & B appears (sometimes this will require 2 or 3 goes). NOTE: It doesn't matter what station is selected 612 works ok for me, but I know other that only use FM stations - either will do)
(D) Press the first trip meter button 3-times - HOLD - then 1-time more (if you miss that last bit, then you will have to start the whole thing over again).
(E) The trip meter should now show the correct kilometerage, less the kilometres you have actually travelled.
