TURBO NA6 CLUBRACER - New front spoiler
The car sustained a bit of an injury after being waved past buy 1 of the alfa boys and then he decided to race me for the corner. I was much quicker into the turns and coming out, but could only get along side him on the straight. He must have a few more kw's. Well it's fixable and it was fun trying to reverse through the gap in the tyres at about 120km/h. I nearly made it too.

The photo's came up really well. I didn't get any pics myself so thanks for taking photo's.
With the damage i just pushed the dent out and went over all the white paint with 400 wet n dry. Then some finer paper and buffed it. And the bumper just pulled back into position on the right side. The left side was hooked up a bit so i pulled it back a bit and down and it just popped back into place as well.
***I am thinking of buying the rollbar from sydney thats for sale does anyone think it is a good idea?***

I bought a hardtop yesterday. It was listed on ebay and i made an offer to the guy, which he accepted. He was only 5 minutes down the road and it is red too. So it worked out really well.
Only problem is it hits the roll bar. And i need to get the frankenstien bolts. It has a glass rear window, but i want to get a plastic one to save a bit of weight, does anyone know where i can get one from locally??
Or would anyone like to swap a glass window for a perspex one??

Wilko you just won't look the same flying around with the roof up
You did a good job of cleaning the damage up, well done. I have a feeling you might get some more panel work practice before long. A full roll cage for you............a great idea
I have emailed you the full size file of that photo you posted. I love that shot.

Yer, Glen i am keen to get some really good times. So i want to get the car set up the best i can. It's just hard to know what to get, as I get told different things by different people. I would rather just buy the right things first time around. I am focusing on the handling for now. Then see if i can fix the wastegate and get up to around 10psi. May as well make a bit more power since i am in the open class. The car would be running under the 135rwkw it was dyno'd at when you had it, as it's only running 6psi now.
emexv - i can always take the top off on a good day. And i hope that feeling you have of more panel work for me isn't too strong. And thank's for the pics.

TURBO NA6 CLUBRACER -New pics of hardtop and bonnet
Wow looking good, I was always caught between having it as a jap look or a retro look, glad you went the jap look, really looks cool, After the first time i got it tuned it lost KW's between tunes. Maztech must of closed the wastegate as best they could on the second tune to get the power back, also the boost controller they fitted definatly doesnt work as you probably have found out. BTW the current map on the microtech is mapped for nine pound. Thats probably why i was fouling plugs all the time.
Just be careful about how much power you run through that diff, Maybe look at putting an oil cooler setup for your Diff (Viscous) or save some coin and get a 1.8 limo

I am not after any look, the bonnet needing painting and i didn't want to pay for a respray so i just did it with a spray can of black, sanded it and gave it a light polish.
The wastegate opens early - you can hear it coming on boost and then you hear all the rush of air dumping. A friend of mine is coming down from brisbane, he has a 9 sec VL. So he can take a look.
The boost control does work, it was wound all the way out. If i screw it right in it boosts to 9 psi for a second before the wastegate opens. I will try to set it to 9 psi.
I hope that the driveline holds up, it should i don't do any burnouts. And i drive it pretty slow.

I might be after this look if any^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
