Its been ages, and I don't really got on this forum much these days, but I do get some value out of it so figured I should update this.
2016 marks 21 years since my first MX5, though there was a hiatus of 5 yrs when we didn't own an MX5. But since late 2014, this car has been taking up space in the garage.

Its a 2003 Classic (Yes, yet another limited edition). Its a car I have known since new, and one that I had the chance then to turn into my ideal road MX5 which saw the occasional track day. It was also the test car for Fulcrum's Tein intro for MX5s. So when its owner moved on to his next car 18 months ago (after covering 212Kkms in this), I jumped at the chance to drive it for a while. Of course, like most MX5s, it has stayed with us much longer than I thought it would and may stay as long as I don't need to fill its spot with something else. Mods to it are:
- Tein SS suspension with EDFC
- Extractors and exhaust (from Custom Exhaust)
- Rollbar (from Weldwell Engineering)
- DBA rotors, Project Mu pads
- Torsen LSD
- re-covered and stitched steering wheel, rebolstered seats (from Lee Brothers)
- aftermarket stereo and speakers
It is an example of a car that was bought new, modified lightly, dríven within its abilities and dealer serviced as per manufacturer schedule. It is still the same fun car it was 13yrs ago, and has loss none of its vigour.

My 7yo daughter has decided that this can be her first car, so it now has her identity to it. But as she informs me, plates can be moved if I get her favourite car next.
And with this car, marks a total Mazda garage for the first time since we built it.
