im coming for sure! i will sell my left nut if i have too..

what do i need to do chriss?? what class can i run in what regs and mods are needing looking at?? do i need cams logbook and/or licences?? i have ls2..so could manage regulatory but would really reall like to go in the races..

should i get this all sorted now and do afew of the mx5 challenge events that are cams based??

Andrew....entries close 1st March...you would only be able to do regularity because no P platers are allowed to do the races...

You probably would have needed to do some of the FOSC meetings to get an invite...probably too late now, not sure how many entries they have.

I have heard that entries are very low this year?

You should still be able to get in.

I only put my entry in this week and I reckon a lot of people probably have done the same thing....it's quite a bit of money, better being in my account as long as possible rather than theirs.

Yeah Brett, the heavy rain did kind of stuff up Friday last year.

I'll be taking it carefully as last year, cause of all places you could make a big mess of self and car, it's Bathurst. As Darren Berry who was injured in the Mini Challenge up there in Oct knows only too well (returning for his 1st drive since in an NC). However, I do hope to smash last year's time.

Just got acknowledgement of my entry this evening.

They were pretty fussy about who would be accepted last year, but if they NEED the numbers, its worth stumping up your $$$. The worst that can happen is that you don't get accepted and get your money back.

so theres no point even attempting to get into the races?? just go straight for regulars??

what would i need to get off my Ps?? i have ran afew mx5 challenge events under the AASA if that means anything..?

what forms do i need to fill out for reg if its really impossible to run this event in the races for me?

whats needed car wise for regs

To get off your P's you need to complete 5 CAMS race meetings and get your licence endorsed, as well as complete a couple of hours (i think it is 8 hours but don't quote me on that) as a flag marshal. Basically their is no way you could get all that done by Easter.

Unfortunately I am in the same situation. But there is always next year!!! :mrgreen:
