hey all I decided to paint my wheels flat black. I never really liked the polished lip look, but thats just me. I also decided to do some tyre painting. Not going to be everyones cup of tea I know. I am not even sure if I like it yet but it was worth a try at least.

The photos are really poo, sorry in advance.

I think the wheels look better like that. Tyres look cool up close but I'm unconvinced from a distance.

With those fat tyres with the white writing, it looks like a NASCAR car.

no qr for me, i need new wheels for the track. I also need a new clutch which wont get here until early august now.

i have considered a satin clear coat! would probably look like those satin orange Kawasaki's.

well my ap racing brake kit finally arrived after taking forever. only one issue, they came with drill rotors. not so bad but would have prefered slotted for a bit more safety. I think they will be fine. I will take some photos tonight. I will not be able to install straight away as I need some spacers but i am not sure how thick just yet. So hopefully I should be able to get them on for the weekend for bedding.

here is a pic of the kit all layed out. I test fit it tonight on one wheel and I need a 5mm spacer. That gives it about 3mm wheel spoke clearance which should be enough. I also need to shim it about a mm as it just touches the steering arm bush on the inside. shims were provided for this very reason which was good!
