jesus! that wing is HUGE!

haha, good job on the brakes, the flares look nicely filled now too  just need some spacers for the back now.

Those brakes are the bomb! they look monterous in the wheels hehe!

I strongly suggest (again) that you paint your headlight bezels black, it will tie in so well with the rest of the car. Ask badbong for some pics, he has some on an evo gold.

keep it up dude!

Your car is looking very mean. What wing is that and what kind of money? I bought my wing of ebay, paid $26 for 2 and sold the one i didn't use for $60. But that wing looks like it would work well.

Well I have had the new brakes on and done a few k’s with them. I have bedded them in now and done a few more vigorous stops – WOW. The brilliance of this kit I have found so far is that it feels just like stock putting around town. No noise and the pedal feel is nice, firm and smooth. But when you jump on them its super firm and stops you very very quickly. I have jumped on them pretty hard from about 100kph to zero and they just worked. No lockups or anything. The only car I have been in that brakes better was a GT3 cup car. With some race pads like ds3000’s I feel it would probably come close to ripping my face off. The kit its self was easy to put on despite me having to use some shims for steering arm clearance. It looks the business and the parts are very high quality. I have a track day coming up on September where they will get a real test. I can’t imagine how the larger kit offered by a forumites father would feel with larger disks and bigger pads. Possibly violent. I can’t really comment further then that as I have not dríven that much on them. I am avoiding driving until I can get my clutch issue fixed later this month/early September.

I highly recommend these brakes. Best part is AP Racing is have a 10% off summer sale right now that I managed to miss out on. These are great value at 970 pound plus about 100 pound shipping. That’s about 2300 aud for a very very high quality kit. My only gripe with the kit is it uses the stock brackets so does not reduce weight as much. Also you have to use the banyo bolts from your original brakes to fit the lines.
