An LS1 in an MX5 isn't that bad an idea. They are not heavy.

Sounds like a great weekend of racing!

I saw the times on natsoft, pretty good, pretty quick!

Bring on next year, I'll be there (fingers crossed!!!)

and lol @ bogans!! get that at some of the supersprints too, had a VL 5L track car, full cage, looked and sounded tough. As we lined up he looked at my car and then the start line official and he asked to go first!
2nd lap I overtook him between the bridge and the start of the essess @ OP GP

He looked shocked!!

OK, so when are the TV highlights being aired? I've got MyStar set to record Fox Sport 1's Inside Speed on Wednesday night (10pm) and SBS's Speedweek on Sunday afternoon (1pm). Hopefully one of these is right! :lol:

What a great weekend.

What a FANTASTIC track!!! :twisted:

A massive thanks to the MX5 Racing team for putting together a great car. Once I got in the spare I didn't change anything. I just tightened the wheelnuts after each race.

It was a great experience and I'm lucky that the bingle was very minor. I t-boned the guy, so it could have been MUCH worse.

Not sure if I should make the video public though... :?:

I chopped the length down cause it shows him getting passed me on the straight! :lol:

It should be on Foxtel and speedweek but dont have a date yet. Would expect it in a couple of weeks or so. When I get a date I will let you know. They might list it on the IRACE website?
