Nah, turns out I may have to head up to Manly to drop some stuff off for work next week, which means I'll have an empty falcon wagon on the way home. The wheels aren't exactly what I wanted but they'll certainly do until the dream set pops up for sale some day. Not telling what they are just yet but they are 15's and have a reasonable offset.

Wheels are now sitting in my garage. I'll fit them tomorrow and get some pics up too.

Well that wasn't a completely great evening. Wheels are on and look good but my right rear brake is sticking. I played around with it a little but couldn't figure anything out, I'll have a more in depth look tomorrow.

Photos are pretty crap as it's just in the garage but the wheels are Simmons F90's in 15x7 +25.

Maybe? I was told that it was lowered when I bought it but many other things I was told about the car at the time of purchase turned out to be false so who knows. Shocks are oem Bilsteins, springs are yellow. Certainly needs moar low though.

Looks good
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Did you get NA8 rear brakes for your upgrade as well? I had a sticky passenger rear brake ... really just needed a good servicing so it was pulled apart and cleaned and new grease and rubber put on. Putting that main rubber seal for the piston on was difficult at first but once you figure it out its all good hehe. You put it over the piston first then slot it into the caliper, not the rubber into caliper first then piston.. just doesnt want to go that way. :) Was weird there was two kits listed in Mazda parts of rubber bits for the rear brake (I have stock NA6 brakes) but both kits were the same... just as well really since one of those piston rubbers got ripped trying to put it on wrong the first time.

Very nice car you have Joe I like the new wheels. :)

Rears were already upgraded by the previous owner, which was the main reason I upgraded the fronts. I'm about to pull it all apart now and see what's going on.

Nice offset Jeo. What tyres? They look a bit narrow or is it just the Pic. Looking forward to checking out your car at the car show next weekend if you're there.

Thanks Dave, tyres are 195/45. Yes I'll be at Marques this weekend.
Remind me to come have a look at that centre console of yours too by the way.

Everything looks to be physically in order with the brakes. With the engine off the wheel can't move at all and the pedal has next to no movement. Start the car and the pedal immediately acts normal, wheel still doesn't move. Pump the pedal a few times and it stays normal, wheel is then able to be turned but takes a lot of effort. Turn the car off and the wheel won't move at all again, pedal gets one or two pumps before going stiff again.
Edit: And I've just heard back from Carco. They've dropped a set of brakes off to get rebuilt for me now, I'll have them tomorrow.

I think I'll need bigger tyres but these will do for the time being.

My passenger headlight was getting progressively worse and worse over the past few weeks and I finally got over it falling down last week. Pulled it all apart yesterday and made my own arm out of some of the parts in the fit and part of the stock arm. It's obviously only a day in so far but I'm far more confident in this setup. I also adjusted the height of the headlights so they sit a little lower and look far better now too.

Hoping for some new photos this week with the new wheels but they may or may not eventuate.
