Hey Chris,

Sorry to hear the old girl just doesn't seem herself. Mind you it did have 138,000 ks on it when I purchase it and it's probably done another 10 between the two of us.

On the other hand it's good to see it's being used, 14 track days in a year is more than I've ever done :)

well...
took the car to unigroup ( www.unigroup.com.au ) who I have been going to for years, just wish I went there earlier.

cylinder 4 has gone, 75 compression and 175 in other 3.

Sorry to hear that mate.

I'm guessing you won't have a sh*t load of spare cash floating around either with the upcoming wedding and all.

I'm starting to think about my options as well. I don't expect my engine to last forever considering what we do with them and the fact that it's got about 140,000ks on it. Don't think it's worth doing much more to this engine, so I better start saving for a rebuild.

Hope you get something sorted soon and get back on the track.

Yeah Paul I knew it would happen at some stage! just had to happen before the wedding!
The guys at unigroup are pretty cool and are in no rush for payments which is good!!

Just thinking now, ideas - the valves in the cylinder 4 need done, so head off etc - any ideas on cost?
would I need pistons?

I have no idea!!!
