Joe's NA6
My car is running again after I replaced the problem hose today. Went for a quick drive over to my parents place and everything was fine. Also threw on some new blue Volk wheel nuts that I got last week. No pics, but it's not really all that exciting.
While at my parents I started work on my new daily. Yep, it's official, the Roadster is getting retired from daily duties and will be seeing the track more often. I've sent off my entry form for a hillclimb this weekend and a mate is trying to convince me in to a motorkhana for the following weekend. New daily is another Mazda, a 1982 929 coupe. I may get a photo or two up here but at the moment it's a stock, green, HB coupe.

Removed the style bar again to put the hardtop on. This blows. I want a new roll bar that fits under the hardtop too.

Successful day was successful!
New pb of 1:17.9
Got much more confident over the top and only spun once to show for it.
Met new people.
Learnt new things.
So once again, successful day was successful.

Re: Joe's NA6
Just remembered, I took my camera yesterday but didn't take any photos. I realised this on the way home and since I didn't have any recent shots with the hardtop on, decided to stop and take a quick few.
I think my front pads may be a little dusty....

Random question. Where you took that picture, is suppose to be a lake in the background. I've dríven past that "lake" a few times but has been dry every time. Have you actually seen it as a lake?

That's Lake George. There's a good article about it on Wikipedia. Apparently it has been dry since 2002, but I recall it was about half full in the mid 1990s. With recent rains, it's starting to hold a bit of water again.
