RACQ Motorfest 2010

- Tezzax5 (faded blue NB8B with a bolt-on turbo kit) :mrgreen:

- 1red5 (modified NA8)

I'm keen to go as a spectator, but don't think I'll enter my boring, unmodified NA8 :lol:

More the merrier..

Don't forget that we need to showcase the NA's 20th birthday....that includes "all modded and Standard models"

Thanks Andrew and Terry for making my first Motorfest a fun one :mrgreen:

For those of you who couldn't make it, here are the three cars that proudly represented the MX-5 family.

Mine (stock but fun!)

Andrew's (LOUD!!!)

Terry's (Mmm...SP)

I lost count of how many people said to Terry, "You added the turbo, right?"

Great cars, great company, overcast but warm Winter day, what more can you ask for?

Besides the absence of a few exotics, it was an awesome turn-out. How pathetic was the HSV Club hey? It was just like going to the lot of your local dealership

the only "modification" they had were personalised licence plates. Yay.

I'll start posting some photos of rare/sought-after beasts during the week.

Once again...Excellent day with mates.
Highlights

1...15 people asking if i fitted the turbo :oops:

(Looks great for a home job)
2...5 people from the MG car-club asking heaps of questions about changing over to the mighty 5 (Sending them JBT's direction for advice... :mrgreen:

)
3...About 20 people knowing what a SP actually is
4...760 cars on display
And lastly it was great to put a few faces to names from the Forum..

Great Fun!
