looks like its really coming along nicely
quick question...how'd u get the carpeting out? i was doing the same but got stuck...couldn't seem to get it out without removing the entire dash (even then it still was looking a bit tricky)

If you don't care about it, cut it and use a long screwdriver to push it backwards to where you can pull it out from.
If you do, taking the dash is the only way to go.
