my new black na8

Postby chris129 » Sun Aug 22, 2010 7:08 pm

Hi everyone

I've been looking for the right na8 for over 8 months and managed to find one last week. This one is in excellent condition and done only 109,000 kms. Booked it in for a service tomorrow - will get all fluids changed and front brake pads done. In terms of future plans I intend to add some white line sway bars and I'm also looking for a hardtop. But othere than that I intend to keep it as is. Took it for a blast today and really love it.

I've thought about the rims but I'm quite happy with the stock standard rims.

Thanks guys. It's such a great little beast.

One issue I've got is the foggy rear soft top window. Before I replace it I'm going to try and clean it with Zaino z-14.

Wow, definitely worth the 8 month search. Can only wish mine was that clean.

Stunning NA8 you've found! Gorgeous. But why change the swaybars? Try driving it some more and I expect you'll find the handling is already superb for a stock car.

Oh and the softtop tonneau is meant to hook over the rear rubber lip before you clip the buttons on the front. :D

Thanks I was wondering how to put it on - literally the first time.

Had the inspection/service done today at Carco in Canberra. David was really impressed with its condition.

He suggested I look at some blistein shocks but to leave the rear sway bar. He also suggested I take off the 14" rims and run some 205 50 15s.
